Bolivia

Bolivia the league leaders Bolívar dropped five points losing 3-2 to The Strongest in midweek before drawing 1-1 with 2nd place Real Potosí. The title chase is really hotting up with only 1 point separating the top 5 teams and 6th place Aurora only 3 points off the top with a game in hand.


Blooming missed their chance to go top by getting tonked 4-1 by La PazOriente Petrolero also missed their chance to go top drawing 2-2 with Aurora but will get another chance when they play Real Potosí on Friday. The other team in the chase are San José who are one point from the top after a 1-2 away win against The Strongest.

Chile



In Chile it is beginning to look like Colo-Colo have their record 30th Chilean league championship stitched up after beating title rivals Universidad Cátolica 3-2 while 3rd place Universidad de Concepción were beaten 3-1 by Cobresal.

In the relegation struggle Santiago Morning climbed out of the automatic relegation zone after an emphatic 4-1 win against Ñublense. The team that took their place in the drop zone were Everton who lost 4-0 away at Cobreloa.


Colombia




In Colombia the top six are only separated by 5 points after 14 rounds. Santa Fe lead the way after a 2-0  win against Junior, meanwhile Deportes Tolima are one point behind after coming from 1 goal down to record a 1-2 away win at Deportivo Pereira.


Third placed Atlético Huila kept up the chase with a 4-1 win against Cúcuta Deportiva. Fourth place Once Caldas won, 0-1 away against Boyacá Chicó with a marvelous goal from Dayro Moreno.


 6th placed Atlético Nacional came back from 1-0 down and down to ten players to win 1-2 away against Real Cartagena. The only team in the top six not to win their fixture were La Equidad who drew 1-1 with Independiente Meddelín.


Ecuador


Deportivo Cuenca kept up the pressure on leaders LDU Quito with an impressive comeback from 2-0 down for a 2-5 away win against ESPOLI who now find themselves joint bottom of the table. LDU Quito responded with a 0-3 away win against Olmedo to stay 1 point clear at the top. 


Paraguay


Leaders Libertad and Cerro Porteño both won, Libertad hammered Sport Colombia 4-0 and Cerro Porteño stayed 1 point behind them with a 3-1 win agaist Sportivo Trinidense.


Peru


In group A Universidad San Martín lost their 100% record with a 2-1 defeat away at Inti Gas and in group B leaders Juan Aurich were beaten 1-3 at home by Alianza Atlético


Uruguay


This weekend's fixtures in Uruguay returned six draws in seven games. Peñarol are in the driving seat having not even played a game, they are in 4th place 1 point off the top of the table with a game in hand. First and Second placed teams Montivedeo Wanderers and El Tanque Sisley drew 1-1. Third placed Defensor Sporting drew 1-1 with 6th placed Danubio.


Venezuela


The top three in Venezuela are only separated by 1 point after leaders Deeportivo Táchira could only manage a 2-2 draw away at Estudiantes de Merida. Real Esporr are 1 point behind in 2nd with a game in hand after beating Anzoátegui 3-0. Caracas FC are also 1 point off the top after beating Atlético Venezuela 2-3 away from home.
