24 November 1998: After Uruguayan sides Bella Vista and Peñarol finished joint top of the 4 team Copa Libertadores qualification mini league they met in a final playoff which was the most important single game in the Bella Vista's history. Leonel Pilipauskas scored the only goal of the game to earn Bella Vista their first ever appearance in the Libertadores and what a remarkable way to do it.
