Despite getting a good away point against one of the best teams in the division Goiás are in serious truble 7 points from safety with only 3 games remaining. The reason that they are in so much trouble is that the 4 teams above them all got points too.

Flamengo are now without a win in five games and in real danger of getting dragged into the relegation fight. Vitória and Guaraní drew 1-1, a result that keeps them both embroiled in the relegation battle. Atlético Goianiense also moved away from the drop zone with an impressive 3-0 win against Palmeiras.
The first game of the 35th round actually took place on Wednesday night in front of a virtually empty stadium in Fortaleza. Botofogo dropped 2 points in the chase for the last Copa Libertadores spot but two of their rivals also dropped points after Santos and Grêmio could only manage a 0-0 draw. On Sunday Atlético Paranaense moved into the last Copa Libertadores position with a 2-1 win against Grêmio Prudente who are the first team to be officially relegated.
The only remaining game was a 1-1 draw between mid table sides Vasco da Gama and São Paulo. neither side really has anything to play for and the game ended 1-1.
