27 September 1981. Boca Juniors hosted River Plate in the Superclásico derby. Diego Maradona opened the scoring with a ridiculous goal for Boca, Marío Kempes got River Plate's equaliser Daniel Pasarella put River in front with a penalty and Ricardo Gareca scored Boca Juniors consolation goal.
It was a less famous player who got River Plate's 3rd and decisive goal in this famous 2-3 win. unlike the other 4 players Jorge García never played outside Argentina, never played for the Argentina national team and his managerial career took him to footballing backwaters of El Salvador, however he will be fondly remembered by River Plate fans for this goal for River Plate against their fiercest rivals their Nacional 1981 championship winning campaign.
