Cosas locas: Windy football

In 2008 in an Argentine 2nd division game Instituto goalkeeper Gastón Pezzuti took advantage of the windy conditions in the southern city of Comodoro Rivadavia to score this incredible goal against the home side CAI. Two years later another Instituto goalkeeper found himself playing in similar windy conditions, however this time he was kicking into the wind.

Cosas locas: Windy football 2

The Patagonian city of Comodoro Rivadavio in Chubut is the southernmost city in Argentina to host professional football. It is pretty close to the Antarctic and sometimes it gets pretty windy down there as can be seen in this clip from a game between C.A.I. and Instituto on 20 November 2010.
