Match reports

Once again Boca Juniors extended their lead at the top of the division with a 3-1 win against second placed Atlético Rafaela. Most of the chasing pack also dropped points, Racing could only manage a 0-0 draw against Estudiantes, Belgrano lost 0-1 at home to Colón who leapfrogged above them in the table and Velez suffered an unexpected 3-1 defeat at Argentinos Juniors, who up until then had only managed one win in twelve league games.

San Martín took a stride away from the relegation places with a 2-1 win against Banfield but two of the other strugglers Olimpo and Tigre could only manage draws in their games.

The game between San Lorenzo and All Boys was postponed and played in mid November.
